Background
This site is an experiment in standards development and support. Standards organizations like ASTM and ISO have excellent mechanisms for facilitating the writing of individual standards. What seems to be lacking however is a dynamic mechanism for supporting the users of those standards when questions arise. This particular topic (Dynamic Force Verification) is one that I have been working on for too many years to count. A core problem with which we (ASTM E8.03.02) continue to struggle is how to best support users who find the process difficult or confusing. This site has been started to try and give more visibility to techniques we are currently exploring as well as to create a mechanism for drawing in more actual user feedback on what issues they face and how they currently address them.
Caution
Since this wiki site is hosted by a third party service we (the testing community) do not have direct control over it's direction or longevity. Thus content on this site must be viewed as potentially temporary. Although that is not the desired outcome, at least for the forseeable future that approach is probably wise. Therefore do not keep originals of critical material on this site. Rather, keep material like that on a site where you have greater control and merely link to your site from here.
